Nitesh Bharadwaj Gundavarapu is a well-rounded and passionate technology professional with a deep respect for the mathematical underpinnings of the field. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Google Research, where he specializes in AI/ML. With almost 5 years of relevant experience, Nitesh has a strong background in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Software Engineering. Prior to joining Google, he worked as a Machine Learning/Data Scientist at Apple, where he optimized Computer Vision data annotation processes through ML models in the loop. He also worked as a Machine Learning Intern at PathAI, where he focused on out-of-distribution generalization of immune cell classification models. Nitesh holds a Master of Science degree in Machine Learning and Data Science from the University of California, San Diego, which he completed in December 2021. He also has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, which he completed in December 2015.
